Im back again

Wow! It feels so nice to be back.My hopes are builiding up - now that I have logged in :-)Im not that forgetful as I thought I was .

When I was back in grad school I always used to ask my friends who were working, about what they would do once they get back from work. They did come up with some answers:The most common ones ,I would say, were: Chat over IM, Phone chats,Browsing,Watching T.V,Cooking...
Good ones, I would say, but until last month I found myself doing none of these ..

I was fed up of browsing thanks to my deadly long hours at work and staring at the computer for a long time. TV was ruled out for the same reason.Anything that required me to strain my eyes was a strict no-no, but I have come to realize that some of the most common things that end up keeping u busy -require that.

I am still trying to find alternate ways which would involve more phycial activity than static indulgence. My quest has not ended.Im hoping to find something really interesting that would keep me occupied.

If anyone manages to read this blog, please do feel free to suggest alternate means for spending time after you get back from work apart from the ones I listed above...

Testing my writing skills: Im in finally

Testing my writing skills: Im in finally

Im in finally

Phew!!! My first try at blogging. I was thinking what will I write, but then figured I would have something after all the trouble I went through logging in. Its quite a process...I would say.
Choosing your user name, your password, your title, your link and now I dont even remember what I keyed in for each of this. Im hoping I would be able to log back in again atleast to see how my blog is faring, but I have stopped hoping that anymore considering how much my memory has deceived me over the past few days at work.

I am a Software Developer and I was trying to build an application package the other day at work.I was using UNIX and all of a sudden I get a message:Please type your new password. I did get a few reminders over the past week stating that my password was about to expire, which I "forgetfully" forgot. I typed something which didnt match the "Alteast 6 characters with numbers" criteria and I had to type something again. This time I typed something longer , but something close to my previous password. So, I typed something again with CAPS on and it accepted, but when I was asked to retype that was when I figured:I didnt remember the RIGHT one.None of the ones I had typed earlier worked and I got locked out.

Well, apparently I was frustrated -with myself , with UNIX , with myself again for a host of thigns I had missed. It was an interesting day at work and a very interesting message to carry home : I AM TERRIBLY FORGETFUL. I cant remember being so forgetful ever in my life.
I always used to boast of an incredibly HIGH memory. Not sure where that had gone...Im still
bewildered and trying to account for that!!!!
